Media, Performing, & Visual Arts
The arts are not extra-curricular; they are co-curricular and support content material delivery in all classrooms. The critical focus and embrace of the Visual and Performing Arts will require students to “Major” in a fine art discipline. We offer dance, music, theatre, and visual arts programming with advanced art courses for high school students across all grade levels.
Students will master and demonstrate competency in the arts, proving that they are arts literate when they graduate. Mastery is measured by participation in local, state, regional, national, and international arts assessments, festivals, and competitions.

For early learners, students are provided with an arts spectrum where they engage with a co-curricular art each day. For older learners, elective courses are offered on quarterly and semester schedules. Students rotate between electives every nine weeks for extra exposure to art topics and specialties. The only exception is a primary ensemble and major-specific pedagogy courses, which occur daily for the entire school year.

Beginning in fourth grade, students participate in weekly fine art colloquia or gallery talks, where they are provided a forum to present, perform, and discuss recent studies in artistic practice.
Career & Technical Arts
Students are offered C.A.T.E. courses that lead to immediate job placement as cosmetologists, barbers, nail technicians, fashion & interior designers, and at various types of arts organizations. C.A.T.E. courses provide workplace certifications and training for students seeking immediate job placement.
Media Arts

Performing Arts
