Fine Arts Preparatory School is dedicated to nurturing young minds and fostering a lifelong love for learning. Our Pre-Kindergarten program prepares students not only for future academic success but also for a rich and fulfilling life enriched by the arts and a strong foundation in literacy and mathematics. We understand the importance of a strong educational foundation during the early years.
Our Pre-Kindergarten curriculum aligns closely with the South Carolina Early Childhood Standards to ensure that students meet key developmental milestones in areas such as language development, motor skills, social-emotional growth, and more. Through cooperative play, problem-solving activities, and guided interactions, students develop crucial social skills and emotional resilience. Every child is unique, and we recognize the importance of tailored support. Experienced educators provide individualized attention to ensure that each student progresses at their own pace to reach full potential.
Curriculum & Instruction
Curriculum for Pre-Kindergarten has been selected with the aid of the National Head Start program and aligns with South Carolina Early Childhood Learning standards for kindergarten readiness. Students are provided additional support in reading and literacy by using a leveled reading program.
Our Pre-K program is designed to nurture the artistic and academic potential of children who are eager to learn and explore. To enroll in our Pre-K program, students must be 4 years old by September 1st of the enrollment year. Families should assure that children attend school each scheduled day.
We offer safe, reliable, and timely transportation for students as space allows on a first come, first-serve basis. Students must wear a seatbelt if they are below the are of seven. Buses roll throughout Spartanburg County in both the morning and afternoon.
